Five times a day in KL

Muslims are commanded to perform solat five times a day. At dawn, called sembahyang subuh; at midday, sembahyang lohor or zohor; again at about four in the afternoon when it is called sembahyang asar; and sembahyang maghrib about seven in the evening. The last is at about eight o'clock and is named sembahyang ishak. Here i list the mosques in KL and also of the most famous landmarks in KL.

Subuh @ Al Bukhari Mosque, KL ( Taj Mahal in KL?)

@ jalan Hang Tuah

Zohor @ National Mosque, KL

Another fairly contemporary building, with some nice features such as the minaret, and the 18-point star roof, but you have to get into the grounds of the building to really get a good view of the latter...was built in 1965.

Asar @ Jamek Mosque, KL
Masjid Jamek is the oldest mosques in Kuala Lumpur... near the Dataran Merdeka...It is located at the confluence of the Klang and Gombak River and was designed by Arthur Benison Hubback

Maghrib @ Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur Mosque, Jln Duta

Isyak @ KLCC Mosque (Asy - Syakirin Mosque)

The mosques in KL have a fascinating and unique architecture... come & see it yourself!
Sembahyanglah sebelum anda disembahyangkan...!
