A total cash purse of RM15,000 is up for grabs in the inaugural Dukethon at the Duke Highway on Nov 22.
The top three winners in each category will receive cash prizes. The run, to be flagged at exit 33 of the Duke Highway, has six categories — men’s open, women’s open, men’s senior, women’s senior, boys and girls - and also a 1Malaysia Fun Walk.
The champions in the men’s open and women’s open will receive RM2,000 followed by RM1,500 and RM1,000.
The men’s senior and women’s senior offers RM1,000 to the champions while the second and third placed runners will receive RM750 and RM500 respectively.
Participants in the fun walk will cover 1km and the best dressed participant will receive RM500.
